beachwood cafe is open tuesday to sunday, breakfast from 7am–11am and lunch from 11:30am to 2pm (closed mondays and public holidays). rub shoulders with the locals who flock to beachwood for the best coffee, friendly attitude, and local and organic menu overflowing with addictive mediterranean and middle-eastern fare. breakfast favourites include scrambled eggs with herb & feta, sides of turkish sausage or bacon, poached fruits, organic mandarin juice, coconut and cinnamon bread. for lunch sample fresh yamba prawns in chilli & garlic, turkish-style sardines, dolmades with garlic yoghurt or braised broad beans with a chilled glass of wine or beer.
